Surprise Engagement in Lauterbrunnen
Gonzalo’s plan was to propose marriage during a picnic with his partner. I was unknown to Cameron. They followed me on to the train to Wengen and along the trail to the location. I was set up as a photographer taking pictures when they arrived. I was waiting for Gonzalo to go down on one knee and propose marriage but it didn’t happen. He had compiled a photo album of their moments together. The last page was a wedding proposal.
It was a challenge for me to understand what was happening. I couldn’t get in front of them to take pictures. I couldn’t get close because of the clicking of my camera. Cameron might have seen that I was taking pictures of them. However, it all worked out well and we had a couples photo shoot at the location before taking some more pictures in Lauterbrunnen.
