I was photographer for an elopement in Zermatt in August. I photographed three wedding couples in two days.

There are lots of different locations in the mountains that surround this Swiss Alpine resort. Locations with backdrops featuring mountains and lakes.

I travelled from Interlaken on the first day and stayed overnight in Zermatt for the second day. Zermatt can be an expensive location during the high season.

I will accept a booking for work in Zermatt because it will go ahead despite the weather. Everything has to be booked in advance.

It’s a little different with an engagement photo shoot. There is a danger of the couple not showing up when the weather is bad. Nobody wants pictures with the iconic Matterhorn mountain hidden in the clouds.
