A post wedding photo shoot in the mountains that surround Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.

A very hot day in August 2024. Amanda and Mark brought their wedding clothes on their honeymoon. They changed into them in a small hut by the railway station. Amanda was wearing sensible shoes covered by her dress. I photographed a Japanese couple the previous week in Zermatt where the bride walked over the rocks in high heels!

There were no rocks where we were going. The couple posed with the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the background. The valley capitaved J. R. R. Tolkien. He discovered it on a walk from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen. It was his inspiration for Rivendell in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
