An early morning engagement in Interlaken. A lovely couple tie the knot by Lake Thunersee near Interlaken in December.

The location is easily accessible by bus from Interlaken. The “Interlaken Guest Card” from the hotel reception gives you free travel on the bus to the lake. An early morning engagement is recommended. The area is popular sunbathing and swimmers during the summer and a proposal is challenge for those wanting a quiet engagement. Remember the sun is low in the sky during the winter months.

The Harder Kulm was another location in Interlaken that I used a lot for engagements a few years ago. Unfortunately it has become too busy and no longer recommended.
