A surprise engagement in Interlaken. Emily said yes by Thun lake (Thunersee) on the last day in November. The morning started with cloud covering the mountain in the background. We were lucky the cloud parted and we had some blue skies for half an hour.

This location is within and easy bus ride from Interlaken. The “Interlaken guest card” given to you by the hotel will allow free travel on the bus to the location. There can be a problem with early morning sunshine. This is a quiet location during the winter months but not the summer months when it is a popular sunbathing area.
