A surprise engagement in Schloss Schadau Park by the serene shores of Lake Thun. A magical marriage proposal set against the backdrop of this iconic Swiss historic hotel on a beautiful September evening in 2025.

Schloss Schadau and its expansive park are a beloved spot for locals. We were fortunate that our engagement was uninterrupted by joggers or dog walkers. Thun is a beautiful Swiss city.

Surprise engagement at Schloss Schadau. I used a light to bring out the couple and the mountains in the background. I deleted the light stand in Photoshop. It’s extra work but worth it in my opinion.

Schloss Schadau is a popular location in the Swiss city of Thun for weddings and other family events. I have worked here several times as a DJ at weddings and photographer.
