Andrew proposed in Zermatt, but they kept their appointment for a photo shoot with me in Lauterbrunnen. Andrew couldn’t resist the sunny day in Zermatt, going down on one knee to propose to Allie. The weather in Lauterbrunnen, however, was rainy during the week we had booked for our photo session. I meticulously checked my weather app and found the perfect window for the shoot.
Okay it’s not a sunny day but it is better to take photographs with clouds blocking the harsh sunlight.
An “After the engagement” photo shoot is a good idea. Your partners knows about it and comes prepared (clothes, make-up, nails etc.). She will also have a few ideas!
The mountain photo shoot will take two hours starting from our departure at Lauterbrunnen railway station. Upon returning to Lauterbrunnen, we can visit a popular spot, which will add another 30 minutes to our photo session. If you wish to have photos by the waterfall, it will take a bit longer. (It also costs extra!)
This photo shoot is from the 24th September 2024.

Andrew wanted to do the engagement again. He didn’t do a good when he filmed it in Zermatt. This is the best position in my opinion with Allie facing the camera at an angle. Andrew has his back to the camera but we can see the ring and the expression on Allie’s face. The sun is also on her back and not on her face.
