Surprise Engagement in Lauterbrunnen

Eric proposes to Chelsea in the Swiss mountains on a hotel summer’s day.

He had told her that he had organized a photo shoot. It was a belated birthday present. He didn’t tell Chelsea that he would propose marriage!

It was a hot summer’s day. A blue sky and no clouds. No shade anywhere! I will bring a reflector on these days for the close ups.

I had another surprise engagement a day later with another Chelsea! She was told to wear “something nice” because they would be going to a restaurant. She forgot to do her nails. Some of the pictures will include close ups of the ring on the finger.

Eric had a good idea when he said that it was a photo shoot.

It is possible to have a few pictures at the location with the waterfall and church in the background. We can travel back to Lauterbrunnen together. It’s a 5 minute, uphill walk from the railway station. We might have to wait a few minutes whilst others take their selfies. This is a popular location and not suitable for a quiet proposal.
