Wengen Engagement

A surprise engagement in the mountains above Lauterbrunnen. Another one of those days where there was low cloud everywhere. I decided to visit the location an hour before we had planned to meet. It didn’t look good. The low cloud was everywhere. However, it cleared very quickly closer to the time I had agreed to meet this lovely couple from the USA.

The clouds disappeared and the sun came out. It’s very low this time of the year and can create challenges for a photographer. It is shining directly into my camera lens. I have a large piece of card that I place over the top of the lens. It shades the lens from the rays of the sun.
