This was one of those occasions where I had no control over the surprise engagement on the Harder Kulm. It would have been better if they had asked me to take a picture of them with their camera.

However, we had a photo shoot after the engagement and I did have control! I would have preferred that we could have seen her eyes. Unfortunate that she was wearing sunglasses.

I didn’t get a signal. I saw Mehmet holding the box with the ring and knew he was ready to propose. Suddenly it happened and I had to make some space between my camera and the couple. Tourists were arriving on the viewing platform all the time.
