An engagement at Bachalpsee, nestled in the mountains above Grindelwald. This stunning lake, situated at an elevation of 2,265 meters, is a beloved destination for tourists. On a clear day, it draws many visitors eager to experience its breathtaking beauty.

Justin proposed at the wrong location, so I quickly slid down a grassy bank to capture the pictures.

Keep in mind that I have a very heavy backpack filled with camera gear to carry during the 55-minute walk from the cableway at Grindelwald First.

I also have additional work editing each picture. The background is littered with people, so I need to carefully remove them using Photoshop.

Distance: 3 km long hike (roundtrip 6 km). Duration to the lake from Grindelwald First cableway: 0:55 h. Highest point: 2,280 m. Lowest point: 2,164 m. A hike for people with medium experience and good fitness. The first 25 minutes is mostly uphill. Afterwards it is uphill and downhill to the lake.
