Photographer for a couples photo shoot at the end of January 2024 on Männlichen mountain. It’s the ski area above Wengen. (Elevation 2,342 m (7,296 ft.) It was perfect conditions for some nice pictures in the Swiss mountains.

My clients were a fun couple visiting the Jungfrau region from Sweden. They planned their first day on the ski slopes around the photo shoot. In order to get best conditions. There was sun but the high cirrus clouds filtered the sunlight. Remember the sun is low in the sky during the winter months.

There are a lot of skiers on Männlichen. It’s a big area. However, I took the couple to a piste where nobody goes! Amazing but true! Experience counts!!

What happens after the photo shoot

I shoot in RAW and each file has to be checked.

I usually create the clients pin protected web gallery during the evening of the day we had the photo shoot.

I edit and upload at least 100 pictures before midnight. But it will take 2-3 days to edit all the pictures.

Couples Photo Shoot On Männlichen — Any picture on the Männlichen has to feature the famous Eiger north face in the background.

Mannlichen Mountain Photo Shoot — Perfect conditions with the sunlight filtered by the clouds bouncing off the snow. A great couple to photograph in spectacular scenery.

Photo Shoot on Männlichen mountain — Be VERY careful if you walk off the trail. The snow has not been packed down and you can sink down to your waist. Very difficult to pull yourself out again!!!
