A surprise engagement on Iseltwald pier at the end of November 2024. The couple arrived on the express bus from Interlaken Ost railway station at 11 a.m. and there were a few people in the area. No bus groups. However there were 4 old women who decided to have some fun by shouting out posing instructions to Ariel and Daniel before he had a chance to go down on one knee and propose!

He managed to go down on one knee before the old women started up again! I had to talk with them and they apologized. They didn’t know that it was a surprise engagement photo shoot on Iseltwald Pier. It is difficult to control. I had no idea when Daniel would proose to Ariel. I couldn’t leave my cameras to go and talk with them.

The pier is cloe to where I park my car and I can bring extra equipment. Two Nikon D850 camers to record the moment. One is taking pictures automatically every 3 seconds with a flashlight. The other has a telephoto lens and I am taking close ups of the event. My Sony is filming the event. Three camers with 3 tripods and another tripod for the flashlight.
