Marriage proposal in Lauterbrunnen

A Marriage proposal in the Swiss Alps with an awesome couple from Chicago.

It is best to use a local photographer (like myself) who knows the area for the best locations. Not only the locations but the weather conditions. The position of the sun at certain times of the day in the winter and summer months and how it has an effect on the Staubbach waterfall in Lauterbrunnen. There is less water flowing over the mountain top during certain months of the year. A local photographer with experience will have this information. Plus a backup if the weather is bad.

Parking Car in Lauterbrunnen

I normally park my car at the P+R in Wilderswil and take the train to Lauterbrunnen. At the moment, there are no trains. The Jungfraubahn have arranged buses from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. I used one of the buses last Monday. It was packed! Going too Lauterbrunnen and departing from Interlaken. Covid is still around folks!

Therefore I drove my car and parked it at the car park by the church in Lauterbrunnen. OMG! The price for parking my car was CHF. 7.-. A scandal in my opinion.

The price for 3 hours in the multi-storey car park by Lauterbrunnen railway station would have been the same but it is close to the station and undercover.
