The Grindelwald-First gondola offers a scenic ride from the village of Grindelwald up to the mountain summit of First, with a convenient stop at Bort along the way. The one-way journey from Grindelwald to Bort takes around 11 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps.

Remember the cableway to First is closed from the 27th October to the 28th November 2025.
