A surprise engagement in Wengen, Switzerland, set against the spectacular scenery of the Swiss Alps. A beautiful sunny day may sound idyllic, but photographing couples in the strong alpine sunshine requires experience, technical skill, and a thorough understanding of natural light.
Having spent the summer photographing couples outdoors in the Swiss mountains, I know how to handle these challenging conditions. I understand how direct sunlight affects skin tones, creates harsh shadows, and can detract from an otherwise beautiful photograph. Knowing when to change position, find softer light, or adapt to the conditions is essential to achieving the best possible results.
Beautiful scenery alone does not guarantee beautiful photographs. It takes experience to balance the light, the landscape, and the couple in front of the camera. My aim is to deliver natural, flattering images that preserve the emotion of the moment while showcasing the extraordinary beauty of Wengen and the Swiss Alps.
