Surprise Engagement on the Jungfraujoch
The second visit this week to the Jungfraujoch for a surprise engagement. Vincent proposed marriage to Sarah. They are from Singapore and this was their first visit to the Switzerland. It was the hottest day ever for May in Switzerland. Summer in Interlaken. We found the snow on the Jungfraujoch!
Once again, I was to remain unknown to the girlfriend. Only this time our plans had a problem. The Eiger Express cable car was broken when we arrived early at the Grindelwald Terminal. Vincent left Sarah in the long line of people that had formed outside the Eiger Express entrance. He came to find me. I was at the beginning of the line.
We quickly decided what to do. Sarah was not to know anything about the engagement. She wasn’t to know that Vincent had been secretly corresponding with me by e-mail planning this special day in their lives together.
