Surprise marriage proposal in the snow
Alberto asks Ilse to marry him on a very cold morning in the mountains above Lauterbrunnen. What a surprise!
I arranged to meet Alberto at the railway station in Lauterbrunnen. Isle didn’t know anything about our plan. He kept an eye on me as we traveled on the cog railway towards the Kleine Scheidegg. He followed me along the trail. I had time to set up my tripod and second camera. It was very cold.
At the location, Alberto came over to me. He asked if I could take a picture of them with his smartphone. Of course I said yes. I took a picture and he suddenly dropped down on one knee. I quickly ran to my cameras and started to take pictures.
Afterwards we had a photo shoot with the ring before traveling back together to Lauterbrunnen. A very nice morning with a lovely couple from Mexico.
Reminder that I don’t ask for a “non returnable deposit” I don’t ask for a deposit to secure a booking for an engagement. Also, there isn’t a cancellation fee. All I ask is that you let me know quickly if you have to cancel. I had so much to do last year. It came as a relief to get a free day.
