Surprise wedding proposal
Surprise wedding proposal in front of a 12th century church near Interlaken, Switzerland. Ruben asks Julia to be is wife on a cold winters day. She said yes!
Ruben had contacted me for suggestions on how to propose marriage. I have written some ideas here.
Ruben chose to “pop the question” during a photo shoot visiting three locations. He would give me a signal during the tour. I can control the situation better with this option. Position the couple better for a nice background. In the shade or with her back to the sun.
This location is a short bus or train ride from Interlaken (5-10 minutes). It offers spectacular views over Brienzersee lake from the castle ruins. The composer Mozart once gave a recital in the church. It is possible to go in the church. Remember to leave a small donation by the door.
