Weather Apps for Interlaken

I have found it very difficult to predict the weather in the Interlaken and Jungfrau regions using weather apps. The lakes and mountains create local weather conditions. The forecast on the 30th September was rain. There are dark clouds over Interlaken but no rain. In Brienz, the weather is okay. (See picture.)

What you cannot see is the top of the mountains.

You will not see anything if you was on top of Grindelwald First or Männlichen mountain. Most hotels have cable TV with a channel dedicated to showing live webcams from the Jungfraujoch, Männlichen, Schilthorn and Grindelwald First.

There were dark clouds over Interlaken but the weather was okay in Brienz. See below.

End of the summer season

Most of the areas will close from the middle of October. They open again for the ski season in the middle of December. Check the Internet for more details. The Harder Kulm, Interlaken is open until the 27th November, 2022. More here…
