We had a quick meeting the day before when they were passing through Interlaken on their way to the Jungfraujoch. We agreed to meet at their hotel in Luzerne on a Sunday afternoon. It was impossible to do anything earlier as Michelle, our stylist, was on her way back from New York. She wouldn’t arrive in Lucerne before 2 p.m.
The biggest problem on the day was the rain. It didn’t stop. Conny wore a beautiful dress but unsuitable for a cold rainy Sunday in November. She was very cold and it’s always difficult to relax in these circumstances. But we made the most of it! The show must go on!
Photographing in the rain is not a good idea. I’ve tried it. There are small grey streaks on the pictures (the rain). I was also concerned that Conny’s make-up and hair would get wet. Therefore I had to find locations where we could get pictures of the couple which featured the famous Kapellbrücke in the background.
The only good thing about the rain was the lack of Japanese tourists visiting the Kapellbrücke. Normally they are everywhere making it difficult to get a decent picture!
We did take time out to go into a local wine-cafe for a hot cup of tea. The staff at La Barca vincafé were very friendly and invited Conny and Ryan to go behind the bar for some photos.
