A wedding photo shoot in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, with the famous Eiger mountain providing a spectacular backdrop!
This lovely couple was certainly lucky with the weather. When we left Interlaken and drove towards Grindelwald, the sky was completely overcast. Things were looking a little grey, but mountain weather can be full of surprises.
As we climbed higher, we eventually found ourselves above the clouds. The weather began to change, the clouds started to clear and patches of beautiful blue sky appeared.
What a difference a little altitude can make!
The Eiger looked magnificent against the changing sky, providing a stunning backdrop for the couple’s wedding photographs. It’s one of the things I love about photographing in the Swiss Alps — you never quite know what the weather will bring, but sometimes a cloudy start can lead to some wonderful photographic opportunities.
