A couple from the USA travelled to the Swiss Alps for a very special occasion: a surprise marriage proposal in the mountains overlooking Lauterbrunnen. Surrounded by magnificent alpine scenery, the setting provided a memorable backdrop for a deeply personal moment.
The proposal was carefully planned, allowing me to capture the surprise as it unfolded, followed by a relaxed engagement photo shoot in the surrounding mountain landscape. Genuine emotions, beautiful scenery and a little anticipation came together to create a collection of photographs telling the story of their special day.
A note about photographing in the Swiss mountains: Some of the most beautiful locations around Lauterbrunnen are privately owned farmland. Please respect the landowners, keep to permitted areas and always ask for permission before entering private fields. A little courtesy goes a long way towards ensuring that these wonderful locations remain accessible and undisturbed.
