A charming couple from the USA got engaged on Iseltwald Pier in May 2026. This picturesque spot on Lake Brienz, near Interlaken, is a favourite destination for romantic moments.

Using the pier has become much easier since the local town council installed the turnstile. Previously, people would picnic and swim right from the pier. Now, groups of tourists often gather to watch and will cheer as you propose, clapping and shouting congratulations. Check out my videos on Instagram here →
