Engagement photo shoot in Wengen in the Swiss Alps. We met in Lauterbrunnen and took the train together up the mountain to Wengen. A short walk to the Männlichen cable car station. With their Swiss Travel Pass the couple (Washington DC, U.S.A.) were able to get a 50% discount on their ticket. We all paid an extra CHF. 5.- to stand on top of the cable car in the specially built balcony. See my pictures here of the cable car. More pictures and a report here.
The Männlichen is a 2,343 meter (7,687 ft.) mountain in the Jungfrau Region in Switzerland. (Source: Wikipedia.) The mountain overlooks Wengen where we used the cable car to get to the top.
The last cable car back to Wengen was at 17.30. We only had two hours and the couple from Washington DC decided upon a photo shoot on the Royal Walk. We made it! We went for a beer in a local bar where we made a deal that I wouldn’t publish any close up pictures of the couple on this website and not mention their names.
“Thank you for uploading the photos so fast. And moreover, thank you for clicking some amazing photos! We are very happy with how they turned out. It was a pleasure meeting you and working with you. ” – Message from the couple.
