Honeymoon photo shoot in Lauterbrunnen

An early morning photo shoot with a lovely couple from Singapore. We were close to Wengen. The sun was behind the mountain peaks when we arrived. However, it quickly showed itself and warmed us up.

Every visit can be a challenge. A photographer with local knowledge is important. This day in February 2023, the sun was low in the sky. There were no clouds and no shade.

The day before, I was on Männlichen (2,342 m (7,296 ft.). A photographer arrived with a couple for an after wedding photo shoot. The bride and groom didn’t look as if they were dressed for the temperature. The sun was shining but there was a cold breeze. It had never seen the photographer before. I thought he was new to the area. They wandered around looking for spots to take pictures. I have a clear plan when I photograph couples on Männlichen. There is no hanging around and time for a hot drink break.

Check the photographers website carefully for pictures from the area and the prices.

Zermatt photographer

Several times I have been asked to photograph couples in Zermatt. There is only one mountain to have in the background. What if it’s covered in cloud? It would be a waste of time and money. I will gladly photograph a wedding. They have to go ahead despite the weather.
