Marriage proposal in Lauterbrunnen

Paul asks Mary to marry him on a cold winter’s day in January 2022. The surprise proposal happened in Lauterbrunnen. Afterwards, I took this lovely couple from South Dakota to the Staubbach Falls where we took a few photos. We went to another location before heading up the mountain to Wengen.

I made eye contact with Paul at the railway station in Wilderswil. In Lauterbrunnen. They followed behind me, at a distance, to the location. This location can be very busy during the summer months. It has also changed with the local people putting up fences to keep the tourists of their property.

You cannot fly a drone here because of the nearby helicopter base. There are “no drone flying” signs everywhere in Lauterbrunnen.
