Marriage Proposal on Grindelwald First
An early marriage proposal in the Swiss Alps. William proposes to Olivia on Grindelwald First. Elevation: 2,184 m or 7,165 ft.
They stayed at the mountain hostel overnight. Earlier in the morning they had hiked to Bachalpsee. I arrived on the first gondola from Grindelwald and Oliver quickly found me.
The early morning harsh sunshine can be a challenge. Clouds blocked the sun and I was able to photograph the couple with the Eiger mountain in the background.
We were not alone for long. Tourists were arriving all the time on the gondola. Walking past us and standing between us and the mountains.
