Marriage Proposal on Iseltwald Pier at 7 a.m.
A surprise engagement early this morning. Chris brought his girlfriend to Iseltwald on the very first bus from Interlaken. I was up at 5.30 a.m. He was texting me at 6.00 a.m. I was in my car driving to Iseltwald at 6.15 a.m.
We had to do it early because we are expecting a lot of rain over the next 24 hours. Not a problem as long as we have light! My Nikon D850 camera with a 45.7 Megapixel Sensor handles low light very well.
It did start to rain as we walked to the other locations in Iseltwald.
I have found a way to make a video with my iPhone and take pictures with my camera. The video can be quickly transferred to your iPhone afterwards.
Late Afternoon Engagement
I photographed a surprise engagement at 5.30 pm on Saturday 20th May. There were a lot of people there. Only two couples waiting to use the pier for selfies. My couple had people watching them. There was an Asian filming them on his smartphone. I confronted him afterwards. It will happen!
