Surprise Engagement Grindelwald First

Kyle proposes to Audrey in the Swiss Alps. A lovely couple from the USA visiting Grindelwald for the first time. It was the last week of the season and the Jungfraubahn had decided to close the top part a week early. I had to quickly improvise. Fortunately, I know the area well. It’s one of the areas that I like to go hiking.

I was unknown to Audrey. Kyle and I had organized everything by e-mail. This is the best way to do it because I can send links with pictures. There is a bit of planning involved. The weather can change everything. I like to coordinate the last minute details the evening before and on the day using WhatsApp.

As you can see, there was a lot of clouds around. I like it best when it is cloudy and the softer light. As long as we can see the peaks!

After Kyle proposed, he introduced me to Audrey. Then we went off for a photo shoot. They had a Jungfrau pass and I suggested a trip to the other side of the valley – Männlichen. It didn’t cost anything extra.
