Surprise Engagement in Lauterbrunnen
Madeline knew that Bryan would ask her to marry him at some point during their holiday. She didn’t know when and it was a surprise! She loved the location despite the weather. The clouds were covering the mountains in the distance.
They were staying in Grindelwald which is more open. They had visited Grindelwald First the day before and it was covered in cloud. They couldn’t see anything.
I have previously noticed that the pictures of Grindelwald First on the TV are sometimes not live webcam pictures.
You can look up from the street and see mountain peaks under clouds. However, you are in the clouds when you up there!
The couple forgot to change trains at Zweilütschinen and connect with the train to Lauterbrunnen.
The trains were packed with tourists. The Eiger Express was closed due to a technical problem. Tourists were being diverted to Lauterbrunnen.

Weather App
I prefer a day with clouds. The daylight is softer. Harsh sunlight does reflect off the green grass and can create a green cast over the picture.
I had checked the weather app to find out when there was a break in the rain. The weather radar animator has proven to be a very good app.
It’s in English and it is free! I am often asked about what is the typical weather for the time of the year. It’s impossible to give an accurate reply because of climate change.
