A Florida couple get engaged in Grindelwald, with the stunning Eiger mountain as their backdrop. Nathaly was taken by surprise, and of course, she said yes!

This site is conveniently near the heart of Grindelwald. However, availability can be limited. Occasionally, the farmer may fence off the area to protect the grass or allow cattle to graze.

Jonathan reached out when his originally booked photographer canceled at the last minute. He quickly found me online using the search term “Grindelwald Photographer.” I was curious about how he found his initial photographer, who was based in Zürich, requiring additional travel expenses on top of the booking fee.

I frequently visit the mountains on photo shoots and often encounter wedding couples with photographers who seem unfamiliar with the area.  Additional expenses may include train and cable car tickets for the photographer, as well as possibly a hotel room.

I vividly recall my first photo shoot in Zermatt. I was unfamiliar with the sun’s positioning and the best locations. Today, with extensive experience in Zermatt, I guide my clients to the best locations.

LOCATION UPDATE October 2025
There have been a lot of cows grazing in the area and crapping everywhere. It does not dissolve quickly into the earth. Infact it will be around throughout 2025. In the winter it will be covered by the snow. Therefore I am not recommending this location. Best location in Grindelwald is on First.
