Valerii contacted me to capture the moment he proposed marriage to Yana. I always have a photo shoot after the surprise marriage proposal. We are together for an hour.
I have been photographing couples at this location for a few years. I know where to go and the photo shoot goes quickly. I’m not looking around for ideas like photographers who have never been to the area.
It’s the same on Männlichen mountain. I watched a photographer wander around with a couple in their wedding clothes looking for ideas. It was cold and the couple looked cold and unhappy. Experience counts.
