This has become a popular location for couples wanting to get engaged. Made famous in the Netflix TV series “Crash Landing On You”.
I have photographed a lot of couples on this pier in Iseltwald. In the winter and summer months. It can be a challenge because of the light. You have to be extra careful during the cold winter months when a layer of ice covers the pier. I haven’t seen anyone fall into Lake Brienz yet. Although I think that I might be the first!
There are a lot of tourists who go there and have a picnic on the pier. Making it difficult to take pictures. I have had to wait many times for a family to finish their food. This was on an extremely cold day!
