Rainy Day Engagement in Iseltwald
A surprise marriage proposal during a couples photo shoot with Suan Kian and Camy from Singapore.
They arrived over 90 minutes late in Iseltwald. The Iseltwald Pier was already busy with tourists taking selfies. I counted 6 tourist buses arriving and leaving in Iseltwald as I waited for the couple.
They didn’t want to stand in the long line in the rain. We decided to go to the other locations I use in Iseltwald. We returned to the Iseltwald Pier at lunchtime. I was hoping that there would be less tourists because of it lunchtime. No such luck. We had about a 20 minute wait to get onto the pier. Suan Kian gave me the thumbs up signal before he proposed.

As well as the Pier location, I have 3 other locations included in the photo shoot. It normally takes between one and half to two hours. There is a 10 minute walk from the pier to the next location.
