Cori and Chad were already engaged when we met in Iseltwald. Chad had proposed earlier that week. They wanted engagement photos to officially share the happy news with family and friends.

The photo shoot began at 11:30 a.m. They waited in line for about 30 minutes to access the pier. A couple of girls were posing as if they were shooting the next cover for “Vogue” magazine.

Using the pier costs CHF 5.- each, and many visitors seek good value for their money. Arriving before 8 am offers the advantage of fewer people, though the lighting will be low for photography. You may also come across others with similar plans, possibly posing in their wedding clothes.
