Photographer for an Interlaken Wedding. The official ceremony (known as the Zivile Trauung or Ziviltrauung) is normally attended by a few close friends. I have sometimes photographed a wedding with a translator sitting at the end of the desk. (It is possible to have a friend translate the proceedings.)
I was able to help this couple with some ideas. They were a small group of 10 people. There was a short celebration at a local restaurant. Afterwards a ride on Brienzersee lake to the Grand Hotel, Giessbach for brunch.
The short ceremony is conducted in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The Swiss official is very good at creating a special and relaxed environment for an Interlaken wedding.
I have photographed many Civil Weddings in Interlaken. Also on the Harder Kulm and in the Grand Hotel, Giessbach. The official knows me and kindly steps back when the rings are being exchanged. Allowing me to come in closer. I am very respectful and will not ruin the occassion with the constant clicking of my camera.
